DVSA recorded 15,930 car theory tests at Bournemouth between April 2025 and March 2026, of which 7,484 were passes and 8,446 were fails. The pass rate was 46.98%, against 44.84% across Great Britain. That is the 59th highest pass rate of the 165 centres with enough tests to compare, and 15th of 22 in the South West. Bournemouth is a high-volume centre, working through roughly 1,328 sittings a month.

One retake buys nothing
